Our cam pins are made of top-quality 4340 steel for toughness (a step up from 4140) with a Black Nitride finish (a step up from manganese phosphate) for hardness and all-weather durability. Cam pins aren't glamourous, but they're critical cuz they take a beating every time you fire your gun and the firing pin still has to slide back and forth smoothly within. We make 'em tough and we make 'em right and we price 'em to compete with the big boys.

You can pay more for the same thing. You can pay more for a fancier coating. But you won't get a better cam pin for hard use in the trenches.
